There will be slight changes to the weekly training schedule over the summer holiday period.
Wednesday and Friday training will be as normal until Wednesday 27th June. Then there will be a short break, returning on Wednesday 11th July.
Over the holidays there will be no Sunday and Monday training nights –
- Sunday – last session would normally be this Sunday (24th June) but this has been cancelled due to the North District Meet. The first session back will be Sunday 26th August.
- Monday – last session will be Monday 25th June, returning Monday 27th August.
- Friday night training sessions will start half an hour earlier than normal. This will be from Friday 13th July to 17th August, returning to the normal times on Friday 24th August.
HST are proud to announce that we will be running a Summer Swim Camp on August 6th to August 11th. This will run from 08.30 – 18.00 Monday to Friday with structured activities throughout the day, 2 x 90mins swim session – one technical development and one challenge session, education on the key elements of swimming and video analysis from top athletes as well as individual video analysis.
The camps are designed for young competitive swimmers aged 10-16 years who can cope with 2×90 min pool sessions as well as a full days-worth of exercise.
The cost will be £300 (£275 for athletes within a HST club) and a £50.00 deposit must be paid when booking. There is a limit of 24 people.

The 25th of May is the date new data protection law regulations (GDPR) come into force in the UK.
To ensure the club is compliant and meets all statutory requirements, the committee have carried out assessments on where, why and how personal data is used, processed and shared.
